The reefs in the Puerto Vallarta teem with marine life, including species such as puffer fish, damsels and noisy parrotfish, as well as lobsters and octopi hiding in the coral-encrusted nooks and crannies. We also have the chance of seeing soaring eagle rays and enigmatic sea turtles and might even have a close encounter with a pod of dolphins. Snorkeling in the area even offers the slight possibility of seeing a humpback whale.
